1. Accepting these Terms
By using UrbanGather or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use features that require acceptance. Mandatory consumer rights and other rights that cannot be limited by contract remain unaffected.
2. UrbanGather’s role
UrbanGather provides technology for discovering, publishing, and administering events, registrations, tickets, reviews, volunteer opportunities, and related features. UrbanGather is not the event organizer, venue owner, or party to offline arrangements unless expressly stated.
The organizer controls the program, venue, accessibility, participation rules, safety, cancellation, and delivery of their event. UrbanGather is responsible for its platform contracts, moderation, and data protection, but does not guarantee user conduct or that every event will take place.
3. Capacity, accounts, and security
You must have sufficient legal capacity to accept these Terms or act with a legal representative’s consent. An organizer may set additional age or eligibility rules for an event and must disclose them before registration.
Provide accurate current information, do not transfer your account, protect your password, and report suspicious access promptly. You are responsible for account activity unless it results from an UrbanGather security breach.
4. Organizer responsibilities
An organizer is responsible for the legality, accuracy, and currency of event and venue information, required permits, content rights, stated accessibility, participant safety, taxes, receipts, cancellation rules, and fulfillment of promises to participants.
Registration data may be used only to administer the relevant event, communicate lawfully, and meet obligations to the participant. It may not be exported or reused for incompatible marketing, sale, discrimination, or unauthorized databases.
- Do not publish another person’s personal, confidential, or protected material without a valid basis.
- Clearly disclose price, cash-at-venue method, restrictions, requirements, changes, and cancellation.
- Provide lawful documents and refunds where required by applicable law or the organizer’s own terms.
- Respect role and ownership boundaries and never attempt to access another organizer’s events or data.
5. Participants, registrations, and volunteers
Before registering, review the description, schedule, venue, requirements, accessibility, price, and payment method. Follow lawful organizer rules, respect others, and assess ordinary risks of offline events. In an emergency, contact emergency services and the organizer rather than relying only on the platform.
A registration, waitlist entry, ticket, or volunteer application does not guarantee that an event will occur or an application will be accepted beyond the expressly confirmed status. Ticket links and QR codes are private and must not be shared.
6. Prices, payment, cancellation, and refunds
The current version supports free events and cash payment at the venue. UrbanGather does not accept online payments, store payment credentials, or act as a payment agent. Any venue payment is directly between the participant and organizer.
The organizer is responsible for price, tax and receipt duties, cancellation, and refunds. Neither these Terms nor organizer rules limit mandatory consumer rights. Do not pay if the method or recipient differs from the event page.
7. User content and intellectual property
You retain rights to content you upload. You grant UrbanGather a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, technically adapt, reproduce, translate at your direction, publicly display, and distribute that content only to operate, secure, and promote the relevant page or platform.
The license lasts while content is published or reasonably retained in backups, audit, or a dispute. You warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions. UrbanGather may remove or restrict content that violates law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
8. Prohibited use
Do not use UrbanGather for illegal, deceptive, dangerous, or rights-infringing activity.
- Fraud, impersonation, phishing, spam, harassment, discrimination, threats, or facilitation of violence.
- Illegal content, malware, another person’s personal data, non-consensual intimate material, or content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
- Bypassing authorization, rate limits, moderation, or the payment hold; attacks, scanning, reverse engineering beyond what law permits, or service interference.
- Scraping, bulk collection of profiles or registrations, or reuse of data outside participation in or administration of a specific event.
- Creating an event without authority to host it or making false claims about price, accessibility, venue, safety, or partnerships.
9. Moderation, restrictions, and appeals
UrbanGather may review reports, limit visibility, reject or unpublish content, deactivate an account, or revoke a role when needed to follow law, protect users, preserve platform integrity, or respond to a violation.
Where legally permitted and safe, we will provide a reason. You may appeal through the contact form using the case identifier. Repeated manifestly unfounded or abusive reports may also be restricted.
10. Third-party services
UrbanGather may link or hand off to maps, routing, Telegram, and other third-party services. Their own terms and policies apply. UrbanGather does not control their content, availability, or later data processing, but remains responsible for safely configuring its own integration as required by law.
Inactive delivery and payment integrations do not promise that the related external service will be enabled.
11. Service availability and liability
We aim to keep UrbanGather available and safe, but the service may change, become temporarily unavailable, or contain errors. Critical unfinished features must fail closed. Where possible, we provide a recoverable state or an availability notice.
To the extent permitted by law, UrbanGather is not responsible for independent acts of organizers, participants, venues, or third-party services. This does not exclude liability for UrbanGather’s intentional misconduct, gross negligence, data-protection breach, or any liability that law does not permit us to limit.
12. Termination, governing law, disputes, and changes
You may stop using the platform and contact us about account deactivation or data. Provisions on rights to already published content, security, audit, disputes, and lawful retention survive only as long as necessary.
Ukrainian law governs these Terms without limiting mandatory rights under the law of a user’s residence where applicable. The parties first try to resolve a dispute through the contact form; an unresolved dispute goes to a competent court under applicable procedural law.
When these Terms change, we update the version and effective date. Material changes receive prominent notice, and separate consent is obtained where law requires it. If one provision is invalid, the rest remains effective.
